How will care providers know how to contact me in case of emergency?

SEIU 503 will provide each parent with childcare release form that must be completed before the child is accepted into Kids Camp.  The form requires:

  • Parent and child(ren) names and cell number
  • Child(ren) food allergies or special dietary needs
  • And other essential information for that providers should know about your kiddo.

To receive the necessary release forms, please contact April Flores at floresa@seiu503.org or 541-434-9507. These will need to be received back to SEIU 503 prior to General Council.

What kind of activities will my child(ren) be involved in?

On the Go Childcare provides age-appropriate activities for the kids including an assortment of bouncers, exer-saucers, swings, cribs, race cars/ tracks, blocks, legos, toddler bikes and such for the youngest age groups. The older kids will have access to a large collection of geotracks, kitchen sets, puppets and puppet theater, relay games, and crafts such as pottery, beaded bracelets, animal masks and other hands on crafts! And then of course we have a large collection of movies that we have them vote and choose to watch together during movie time.

In addition, there is a school park nearby for chaperoned visits and the gym will be open for kids to play indoors (out of the heat) from 10-12noon and 1p-3p on Thursday & Friday and 11 to 3pm on Saturday.

Exciting News Kid Climbers!  On Saturday afternoon, certified rock climbing trainers will assist parent-authorized participation for kids to experience beginning rock climbing.

What will my child(ren) eat when they are at Kids Camp?

Breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided Thursday through Saturday. Healthy beverages will be provided (water, milk, juice).  Soda pop will not be served.

What can my kids bring to Kids Camp?

Kids can bring a backpack with items they or you deem necessary to have while at Kids Camp.  We recommend each kiddo arrive with a change of clothes (just in case); and age-appropriate items for health and comfort (diaper supplies, bottle supplies, pull-ups, etc.)

For security and safety, packs/bags will be stored in a secure area and kids will be able to access them only with adult supervision.
