Sub-Local Election Process Under Way

Members of SEIU 503 sub-locals across the state will elect new local officers starting next month.

It’s part of a biennial cycle of elections that includes voting on members of the Board of Directors, the election of delegates to the 2010 General Council and, finally, four statewide officers in the fall.

The election process in each sub-local is detailed in this chart (pdf).  Members are encouraged to run for office and, of course, to vote.

View or download the 2010 Election and General Council Guide here. This guide contains all the bylaws, policies, and governing documents that cover State-Wide, Local, and General Council elections.

For detailed information about elections in your sublocal, click your sublocal in the list below.

This list of links is a work in progress. If your local link is not live yet, check back soon, or view the same information in this chart (pdf). All links will be live no later than January 4, 2010.
