The care economy is all around us and it’s growing. With the tremendous demand for in-home care services for seniors, people with disabilities, and families with young children, caregiving has become one of the fastest-growing professions in Oregon.

But the care economy isn’t working for us. The cost to consumers is too high and the pay caregivers receive is too low. Through public investment, education, and policy changes, we can raise the value of care and provide life-changing services to all of Oregon’s seniors, families, and people with disabilities.
