Avamere ALF workers holding signs about why they need higher pay and safer

Our new Avamere ALF agreement has been voted on and agreed to with a 100% yes vote.

Highlights of our tentative agreement:
• A new wage scale effective January 1, 2022 (see below).
• Another raise on January 1, 2023 (increase 1 step, plus 3% cost of living increase).
• An extra $7.50 per hour if you have to pick up a shift with less than 7 days notice.
• New training standards will ensure that newly hired caregivers are mentored before being added to shifts.
• Restarting the statewide labor-management group so we can problem solve with management year round, and not just during bargaining.
