SEIU represented workers at PPS reached a tentative agreement with management on a one-year extension of their current contract that includes the highest wage increases in memory and raises the starting wages for all of our members to around the 77th percentile of comparable Portland employers!   • 15% pay increase for custodians on July 1st, 2022
  • 7% pay increase for nutrition service leads July 1st of 2022.
  • 19.8% increase for nutrition service assistants July 1st, 2022.
  • All custodians who are not topped will go up one step on July 1st, 2022.
  • Custodians step intervals will be increased from 2.5% to 3.4% on July 1st, 2022.
  • $500 one-time payment to all Nutrition Services employees employed on July 1, 2022.
  • Extending the terms of the current contract until June 30th, 2023.
  • To begin negotiations for our next contract no later than February 10, 2023.We will meet with the district on paid time to discuss compensation studies before we begin bargaining in Feb 2023.
