We are hearing news of a budget negotiation in Congress that does not include a fix for Dreamers. This could pass today, February 8, which would be a big set back for 800,000 who came to this country as children and have played by the rules. We need to take action.

Our country gave legal status to the Dreamers with the DACA program (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). We made a promise: If they stayed in school and played by the rules they would be safe here. President Trump broke this promise when he ended DACA. Now our leaders in Washington need to step up and find a new way to keep their promises.
