Wage increases, staffing, improved Vacation and Sick leave
Wage Increases (see wage scale below)
COLAs and step increases each year of the contract. Agreement to keep one scale at all facilities. Added a 10th step to the scale, plus language to ensure annual raises for workers with more than 10 years experience.
Staffing
New staffing language to help ensure safe staffing levels and better care for residents.
Vacation and Sick time
- Vacation will available after day 91 of employment
- Employees will be able to accrue paid sick leave time at 1 hr for every 30 hrs worked, up to 48 hrs per year. Unused hours accumulate year-to-year, up to a maximum of 176 hours.
