Our United for a Better Oregon Rally will take place Monday, May 20th, 2019, from 11:30 until 2:30 at the Oregon State Capitol. After years of SEIU working hard for revenue reform, Oregon just passed $2 billion in new revenue from large corporations. Now it’s time to make sure they invest in public services that SEIU members provide, and the people who provide them!
Thank you to those who have registered and, if you haven’t registered, please feel free to join us on Monday. If you have registered, bring your friends, families, clients, and coworkers. It will be a fun, busy day with music, a photo booth, and scavenger hunt, in addition to our march and rally. Please see the following information regarding directions/parking, bus information for people who registered and requested a bus ride to the Rally, and the program schedule. Driving Information
Free parking will be available at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, 2330 17th St NE, Salem, OR 97301. Shuttles will begin running from the fairgrounds to the registration area at 10:40 a.m. Please allow extra time to park and take the shuttle so you can be registered and ready before our march begins at noon.
