My name is Ehren Vaughn, and I am running for the position of Assistant Director for the Human Services Coalition.  For more than 12 years, I have worked for the State of Oregon and been a proud member of SEIU 503, Local 471.  I have served as a Steward, General Council Delegate, Section Officer, and current Assistant Director for Human Services.  If re-elected, I will continue to represent voices of union members from across our diverse membership.

As a member-led union, we thrive when we emphasize outreach and communication.  I will strive to continue to build on the progress we’ve made together.  I am proud of the work that our many member-leaders do to make our union a force for justice, equity, and progress.  As we continue to grow our union, it is vital that we strengthen protections for workplace safety and worker rights, while creating opportunities for new leaders to learn and be heard.  Thank you for your support.
