In his seventeen years in the labor movement, Brian Rudiger’s leadership has been a hallmark of collaboration and innovation. From leading creative actions that quadrupled airport union membership and significantly raised members’ standards, to designing and leading contract campaigns to bargain in the common good, Brian is always on the forefront of raising living standards for all working people.
Within SEIU 503, Brian has driven the work of the Committee for the Future—a member committee charged with assessing the threats facing the labor movement in the 21st Century, and developing a plan to flourish through changing times. Under his leadership, SEIU 503 is on the cutting edge of continuing to build a just and vibrant society in the face of even the most difficult challenges.
Brian lives in Portland with his wife Nikki (also an SEIU 503 member) and their two young sons, who keep him constantly motivated and grounded in the work that lies ahead.
