You are entitled to have a steward when you are being interviewed by management and you have a reasonable belief that the questions could lead to you being disciplined. You may also have a steward with you when you are being given a discipline more severe than a written reprimand.  In most cases, you are not entitled to a steward when you are in a coaching or counseling meeting, or during a performance evaluation. The right to have a steward during an investigatory interview is called Weingarten Rights.
