Slowly gaining momentum at the bargaining table
We know that winning meaningful raises and protecting benefits are our members’ top priorities. We are currently waiting for a final budget from the legislature so that we can start digging into these core economic issues at the table. In the meantime, we’re working on some of our members’ top non-economic priorities, like ensuring workers are protected on the job and have flexibility when it comes to when and where they work. We don’t have any new tentative agreements to share at this point, but see below for where things stand on our priority issues. Read the latest on all open proposals on our website.

Winning on the issues we care about will require us to stick together and put pressure on key decision makers.  Here’s how you can help build the pressure to settle a fair contract.

I Am Essential Day of Action
On June 4th members across the state called on legislators and the Governor to support the Essential Worker Pay proposal, and to ensure that State workers who masked up and did their part to keep services running in Oregon are included by adding extra one time money to the state worker salary pot. Oregon must do more than pay lip service to the risks our members took to do their essential jobs through a pandemic, wildfires and other crises of 2020 and 2021. The state has an opportunity to do right by our members and recognize their sacrifice. It’s critical that we pay essential workers and fully fund all the essential services that make Oregon work.
