    Union Elections: Don’t Throw Your Vote Away!

    This is a reminder to vote in your sublocal union election if you have not already. Voting will be open until Sunday, April 14, at 5:00pm Pacific Time.

    NOTE: Our records show you are not a dues-paying member of your care provider union. If you are not a member you cannot vote in union elections or have your feedback considered in regard to contract bargaining. If you would like to have a say in the outcome of your contract, join your fellow care providers to advocate for better pay, benefits and working conditions. We are stronger together! Click here to join your care provider’s union and help build power for yourself and your coworkers. Together, we can win the respect, protection and pay we deserve..

    The 2024 General Council: SEIU 503’s Supreme Governing Body

    The 2024 General Council, SEIU 503’s supreme governing body, will convene at the Downtown Portland Hilton Hotel August 1-4, 2024. Training for appointed General Council committee chairs and members will be scheduled prior to General Council convening.

    Members of all SEIU 503 sublocals are in the process of electing their General Council voting delegates through sublocal elections. Every sublocal has at least one delegate, while the number of delegates for larger sublocals is apportioned under an established formula. Members of the Board of Directors—statewide officers, directors, and assistant directors—serve as General Council delegates automatically by virtue of their elected positions on our board.
