Today, two hundred workers rallied at the University of Oregon’s Johnson Hall to send a message to management that their disrespectful economic proposal will not fly.

Together with other union, students and community members, SEIU 503 showed that we are united and ready to do what ever it takes, including going on strike, to win a fair contract.

The good news is that we were successful in passing a legislative package that fully funds K-12 education, which eases the overall pressure on our state budget. The other good news is that there is still time for the legislature to invest in higher education. However, our elected leaders need to hear from you.
