SEIU 503’s Executive Committee voted on Wednesday to make financial assistance available to SEIU 503 members impacted by the recent flooding in Eastern Oregon. There are 1,500 people in our Union in Umatilla County alone, and the financial impact of being evacuated or dealing with property damage can be significant.

Assistance will be awarded to members in good standing who have experienced financial hardship as a result of the recent floods, up to $200 per member. Anyone who is interested in helping more may donate to the Community Action Program of East Central Oregon.
