Our union coalition petitioned PPS to provide meaningful in-person sexual harassment prevention trainings and an independent audit of how complaints are handled to ensure that PPS is a safe, positive, and equitable place to learn and work.
The training tomorrow (Friday) is a first step, and an opportunity to connect with each other and show PPS workers are united for a fair contract that ensures safe working conditions, living wages and fair and respectful treatment.
Stop by our union table when you arrive to get the latest bargaining update, some purple swag and sign the strike pledge. Also, if you plan on joining Teachers on the picket line before or after work, or during a break, be sure to take a photo of yourself (purpled up!) and send it to photos@seiu503.org.
In Solidarity,
Your Local 140 Bargaining Team
