Andrea Clark

Andrea Clark – Candidate for Client Employed Care Assistant Director Local 99: Homecare Worker I’m a lifelong Oregon resident, graduate of the University of Oregon, and a long time Homecare Worker, caring for my mom. My involvement with SEIU 503 came after witnessing the many injustices and challenges that both care providers and their consumers face everyday, watching the most vulnerable people in our state and those that care for them slip through the cracks. I have now seen the mighty power of the united front of SEIU 503 and have been working hard to do my part to keep that momentum going. I’m currently a CAPE Council delegate, Homecare Bargaining team member and a Homecare Council Director. I have participated in political canvassing, political actions in Salem, spoken on behalf of fellow sub-locals, been a General Council delegate multiple times, and I’m actively involved with Careworks of Lane County. I also participated in the Member Leadership Development Program training, reaching out to care providers across my district to both grow our union and unit my coworkers. I fully believe that continual transparency, accountability and flexibility, with the membership is necessary, in this changing world. We need leadership willing to work hard to represent all SEIU 503 members, our fellow Oregonians and unite Oregon for a better future. I believe that becoming your next Client Employed Care Assistant Director on the SEIU 503 Board, is my next step in doing my best to fight for the rights and respect of care providers, their consumers and all of my fellow union brothers and sisters. I’m hoping for the opportunity to serve as your next Client Employed Care Assistant Director on the SEIU 503 Board. Please vote for me, Andrea Clark
