Our union is holding a series of storytelling trainings specifically for care providers, whether it’s home care, personal support workers, adult foster care, nursing homes, group homes, or long-term care facilities. We’ll teach you how to craft your personal story, and help share it through our social media channels, website, or targeted legislative advocacy. Due to the pandemic, lobbying at the Capitol will be done remotely until further notice. While we won’t have the experience of connecting with decision-makers in person, this digital format will allow members who otherwise couldn’t physically make it to Salem to participate.
