Have you seen our new mural? It’s located on the west side of the SEIU 503 building.

Painted by Portland-based mural artist, Héctor Hernández, it’s a bold reminder of our solidarity, strength, and the collective power of working people. It’s clearly visible to people in the inner east side of Portland and facing the Oregon Convention Center, which is just one block away. Thousands of people coming there for events will see that Portland, Oregon is a union town!

A mural on the side of a building that shows workers raising their fists with sun rays behind them resembling flower petals. A dove flies out towards the top left corner of the mural. Flowers and butterflies frame the bottom. There are people marching and a care worker helping another woman stand up. In the bottom center above the flowers are two people embracing each other's hands, one has light skin and the other has dark skin.
