Election results from SEIU 503 Board of Directors Special Election for Homecare and Client-Employed Providers

At the SEIU Local 503 General Council held in August 2022, the elected delegates to General Council voted to increase the number of Board members who are client-employed providers or who work at a private homecare agency so that the SEIU Local 503 Board of Directors better represents the number of homecare, personal support, and personal care attendants in our Union. At General Council, the delegates also voted to adopt ranked choice voting for Board of Director elections. The election was certified by Ryder Election Services, the Elections Committee Chair, and the Union’s Secretary on December 21, 2022.
