SEIU 503 Executive Director Melissa Unger spoke this week at State Of Reform Oregon where she delivered a critically important message: When it comes to our health we can no longer put profits over people.

Oregon has made a lot of progress on healthcare. 95 percent of us have a health insurance plan. But that’s not the end of the story. We have to ask ourselves if healthcare is affordable, if it’s good healthcare, and if outcomes are equitable.
