Stephanie is a Revenue Agent in Student Services at the University of Oregon.

Stephanie is incredibly compassionate and an exceptionally fierce defender of workers rights. When it comes to qualities that make an outstanding Union member, it doesn’t get much better than that. In her 20 years of working at the University of Oregon, she says she’s seen it all.

“When I see what’s happened over the years to working folks and the atrocities that they have endured, especially during the pandemic, it’s not something that I can sit well with. I don’t believe that people who put their hard-earned energy and life into their work, should be treated with anything less than respect from their employers. When you’re expected to be essential but are called unskilled labor by management, that’s something I’m going to stand up about every time. You have to speak up. You have to do it collectively. You have to do it together.”
