June 30th, the final deadline to complete mandatory refresher training is just around the corner. We understand that when your profession is taking care of others, it can be hard to find time for training. Care providers have busy schedules and Carewell is here to support you to finish on time.

The state is saying that licenses will be terminated for workers who don’t meet the June 30th deadline. We worked to get the first deadline of March 31st extended and were successful; however, there will not be another extension past June 30.

It’s important to know that if you receive a termination letter, you can continue to provide care for your consumer/client after June 30 AND you will be able to appeal the termination if you have finished your training, clearing the way for your termination to be revoked.

If you have not finished your training by June 30, the state may send you a termination notice in July or early August. If you have completed your training by the time you receive this letter, your termination will be withdrawn.

If you have not finished your training, you can still appeal the termination to make sure you have the time to complete it. To keep your provider number, you must complete the training.

Get started today – the training is in two parts, and it’s all online. Plus, you’ll get a $200 stipend after you’re done!
