SEIU is committed to creating a just society for all people. We recognize that not every member of our union can move through our communities without fearing for their lives. The senseless killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd do not reflect who we want to be as a country. In order to live up to our own principles, we must demand that our country is safe for everyone.

This week our Union’s Board of Directors voted to recommit our support for ending systemic racism, and doing so alongside the leadership of Black-led organization in Oregon.
