After reaching out to many of you, our bargaining team made the decision to proposing to limit the scope of negotiations for this year’s contract. Given the the current crisis and the state of the economy we believe this decision to be in all of our best interests.

Last week we reached an agreement with the County on our contract. Details include:

  • Two year agreement through June 30, 2022
  • 2% COLAs on July 1, 2020 and July 1, 2021
  • Provides for reimbursement for CDL medical exams
  • Slight increase to personal vehicle mileage reimbursement ($.05)
  • Adding Long Term Disability Insurance
  • Other Housekeeping changes

We’ll be voting on whether to accept this agreement on June 29 and 30. If you do not receive a personalized link in your email to vote the morning of June 29, or if you have questions about the contract settlement, please contact Andy Utz at utza@seiu503.org.
