We would like to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of the public service workers who are fighting fires across Oregon, clearing roads and debris, and doing everything they can to keep people safe. SEIU 503 members are standing with you.

In light of wildfire’s impact throughout Oregon, the SEIU 503 Board of Directors authorized these steps to support members and their communities.

  1. SEIU 503 is offering one-time financial assistance of up to $250.00 to help members and their families impacted by fire and evacuations. Please fill out the form below to apply.
  2. On Friday, September 15, SEIU Local 503’s Executive Committee approved a $1,000 contribution to the Oregon Volunteer Firefighters Association. We encourage members who are able to make a contribution of their own here.
  3. The Executive Committee also approved $1,000 contribution to The Hood River County Mike Anderson Search and Rescue Fund –a memorial fund created in honor of a recently deceased sheriff deputy. Contributions will directly support the county’s search and rescue efforts. Donations can be made at any U.S. Bank branch or can be delivered or mailed to: 601 State Street, Hood River, OR 97031.

In Unity,
