SEIU members are invited to join U.S. Senator Ron Wyden’s “Reimagining Health Care for America” field hearings around Oregon beginning next week. Senator Wyden will hear from Oregonians as they share health care stories and ideas of how we can reimagine health care. Donald Trump and congressional Republicans made the largest health care cuts in history, kicking 15 million Americans off their health insurance and raising premiums and deductibles for millions more. 

Starting in January 2027, nearly 250,000 Oregonians will be at risk of losing their health insurance, a huge blow that will hurt all Oregonians by making health care even harder to access for everyone. Senator Wyden is committed to rebuilding and reimaging our health care system, and to do that, he wants to hear from you.
