Hello, union siblings! I’m seeking YOUR VOTE TO ELECT ME as Assistant Director to be a Board member. Currently, I am a director for Multnomah County District 1, Homecare Sublocal 99. My native language is Spanish; some of you may remember me from when I made phone calls to invite you to our Homecare District and union-wide events. In my role as Homecare director, I've had the opportunity to work alongside and support my colleagues in homecare. I've also attended demonstrations, rallies and Union events in Portland and Salem, and Union-wide national campaigns where I've had the opportunity to interact with legislators and advocate for better and more benefits for us. I've also helped organize events like the summer picnic and the end-of-year party. I've been pursuing further training to improve my performance as a director and as a member of our union. I attended the 2026 Labor Notes leadership training in Chicago where I learned many organizing skills and had the chance to network with union members from all over the country.

For this Board Election, I hope to have your support to make our union even stronger to continue the FIGHT to protect us homecare workers from the Medicaid cuts and make sure we have a contract with strong benefits and wages increases. VOTE TO ELECT NAYELI AGUILAR DIAZ!
