Falkenstein, Patty – PPL PSW: Candidate for Director

Greetings union sisters and brothers!

My name is Patty Falkenstein and I am running for Director of 503 region 7 NW.. Being an elected officer means the ability to represent my fellow union members and weigh in on matters that concern all of us. Integrity and honesty are in my opinion hallmarks of true leadership, and I strive to practice both in my professional and personal life. Being engaged and active in our union for many years has been a challenge and a labor of love. I have learned a lot, and will continue to do so.
I attend union actions, political rallies, and meet with candidates to move forward a better agenda for all workers. I serve as the Vice President of Home Care Council, as sublocal 99 homecare bargaining team Co-Chair, CAPE region 3 chair, Commissioner for the Governor’s board for senior services, and Oregon Women Labor Leaders. I work hard to advocate for emergency preparedness for vulnerable populations. Working together we can accomplish a lot!
I have a passion for effective communication with experience in group facilitation. Serving as 503 board Director for region 7, I will lend my voice to call for a better Oregon for all. I encourage everyone to get active in our union because TOGETHER WE RISE! Thank you for your consideration.
