Stephen, Sheri – State APD – Linn: Candidate for Director

My name is Sheri Stephen, and I am running for SEIU 503 Board Director position to Represent Region 2 and be a voice for all members in this Region and in special Homecare workers!

I am currently the Director for Linn County, a member of the Homecare council and provide support to Benton County and Lincoln County.

I am privileged to work for a family member as a Homecare Worker. Once I found out the incredible work that we did as a union, I quit my job and went to work solely for my sibling. I truly believe in the work we (SEIU 503 family), do for our community and loved ones. Without the opportunity to share without all the hard work the Union has done, I would not be able to successfully support my sibling and provide for my family. I think it is import to have the opportunity to share this information with others. I have been presenting NEO's for more than 2 years. I have been accepted as a Steward by the Home Care Council as I have completed all the required training. With the dedication I have to continue the work, I would be honored to serve as a SEIU 503 board member.
