You’re registered for the Fund Oregon Now Rally to Invest in Our Future! We are excited to see you Thursday, June 5 at Capitol Mall Park in Salem. Please read this email for key event info:

☀️ Weather & Safety Tips

Expect warm weather (forecast is in the 70s) with little shade. We’ll provide water and have a medical team onsite. To stay safe:

• Bring extra water or a refillable bottle
• Apply and reapply sunscreen
• Wear light, loose clothing and a hat

Event Schedule

• 12:00 PM: Speakers & activities begin
• Followed by a march around the Capitol
• Sign-making and purple gear tables available
• Feel free to bring your own sign!

♿ Accessibility & Language Services

• Scooters available (first-come, first-serve)
• Interpretation devices for Spanish, Russian, Cantonese (must be signed out/returned)
• ASL interpreters on stage; reserved space for scooter/ASL access

Lunch

Provided lunch options include:

• Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, or Turkey Bacon Wrap
• Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free versions available
• All include salad + treat (GF/DF options provided)

• Green Lot: 586 Winter St NE
• Red Lot: 1128 Marion St NE
• Capitol Mall Structure: 999 Chemeketa St NE (limited – prioritize ♿ mobility access)

Parking Passes: Staff will distribute passes at lot entrances until 12:30 PM.

Taking the Bus?

Buses will depart from Portland, Eugene, and Medford for a same-day round trip. No lodging is provided. Buses are standard charter (with A/C, Wi-Fi, bathroom), not ADA accessible—attendees must be able to board via stairs and sit for extended periods. Water and snacks provided. Lunch served at the rally.

Lodging (If Approved)

• Confirmation: You’ll get an email if lodging is approved.
• Credit Card: Hotels may require a card for incidentals—members must comply.
• Assistance Animals: No extra charge per ORS 659A.143.
• Pets: Non-service animals require a single room; member pays ½ room cost + pet fees.
• Changes/Cancellations: Email us by 1 PM the business day before check-in. (Replies to this message won’t be seen.)
