Steward Academy (220)
Overview
Being a new steward can be intimidating, but with support all of us can learn to be effective stewards. State Worker Contract Specialists created this program so we can learn from each other, build relationships and get you plugged in and know how to get more involved. You will learn how to build a community in your workplace, represent your coworkers, enforce the contract, and build the Union. There are six sessions that take place at noon for an hour, usually every two weeks.
